About This Role
Norse Atlantic is seeking First Officers to join their growing team operating Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft from London. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new airline building a high-performance culture with a focus on excellent customer service and environmentally friendly operations. Candidates must hold an ATPL or CPL/IR issued by UK CAA, have a minimum of 500 hours on multi-pilot aircraft, possess a B787 type rating or willingness to obtain one, and have unrestricted right to work in the UK. Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the Captain in safe and efficient operation of Boeing 787 during all phases of flight
- Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections including aircraft systems, performance calculations, and weather review
- Review and verify weight and balance, performance data, and NOTAMs prior to departure
- Operate aircraft systems and controls in accordance with standard operating procedures and manufacturer guidelines
- Monitor aircraft performance, navigation, and communication systems during flight
- Adhere to all company policies, aviation regulations, and international standards
- Ensure compliance with safety management systems and report safety concerns promptly
- Participate in regular simulator training, proficiency checks, and emergency procedure drills
- Work as part of cohesive flight crew, fostering effective communication and teamwork
- Communicate effectively with ATC, ground crew, and cabin crew
- Support Captain in maintaining positive and professional cockpit environment
- Manage cabin crew briefings and address passenger-related concerns when required
- Contribute to positive passenger experience through timely and smooth operations
- Act as brand ambassador, maintaining professionalism in all interactions
- Complete accurate and timely flight logs, reports, and documentation
- Stay updated on company manuals, operational procedures, and regulatory changes
- Participate in post-flight debriefs to identify areas for improvement

Requirements
- Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) or Commercial Pilot License with Instrument Rating (CPL/IR) issued by UK CAA
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate issued by UK CAA
- Minimum 500 hours total flight time as pilot on multi-pilot (CS-25) aircraft
- Boeing 787 type rating or willingness to complete type rating training
- Extended (Level 5) or Expert (Level 6) English language proficiency endorsed on license
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, navigation, and meteorology
- Excellent situational awareness, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing operational conditions
- Unrestricted right to live and work in United Kingdom
- Live within 90 minutes of London Gatwick Airport or willing to find suitable accommodation within that radius
