Avelo Airlines is seeking First Officers for B737NG operations. This role emphasizes safety ownership, crew leadership, and customer service. Requires ATP certification (preferred unrestricted) and minimum 1000 turbine hours, with U.S. citizenship mandatory.
Requirements
- Valid first-class medical certificate with at least three months validity at hire
- ATP (Airline Transport Pilot) certification - unrestricted ATP preferred
- ATP-CTP course completed
- Minimum 1000 hours turbine time (preferred 1500 total time)
- Minimum 1500 total flight hours preferred
- Alternative minimums: R-ATP military aviation experience + 21 years old = 750 TT; Aviation Bachelor's degree (141) = 1000 TT; Aviation Associate degree (141) = 1250 TT
- Minimum 21 years of age
- U.S. Citizen with valid U.S. Passport (at least 6 months validity)
- Pass Department of Transportation pre-employment drug screening
- Able to work rotating schedule with variable duty days up to 16 hours
- Available for nighttime/overnight hours, weekends, holidays, and multi-day trips away from home
- Clean background and security clearance eligibility
