About This Role
Air Transat is hiring a First Officer (Second in Command) on its all-Airbus fleet, operating the A321 or A330. The role assists in flight planning and flight preparation, carries out duties assigned by the Captain, and performs tasks per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Second in Command will have to perform the specific responsibilities relating to operating the aircraft to which they are assigned (A321 or A330)
- Assist in flight planning and other preparations for flight
- Carry out the duties assigned by the Captain
- Carry out other tasks as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Requirements
- Hold an updated certified logbook
- Hold a valid Transport Canada ATPL or Commercial Pilot License with either IATRA or SAMRA/SARON exams written. Thorough knowledge of Canadian aviation regulations (CARs)
- Hold a medical certificate of category class 1
- Hold Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident status
- No restrictions to travel in the United State or other countries served by Air Transat
- Hold an aviation college diploma, an asset.
