About This Role
Air New Zealand is accepting expressions of interest for ATR Flight Simulator Instructors in Auckland to train and develop pilots across initial, recurrent and upgrade programmes. Instructors deliver simulator and classroom sessions and conduct checks, assessments and evaluations in line with the airline's Part 121 training standards. Applicants need permanent New Zealand work eligibility, an NZCAA CPL or ATPL, instructional experience, at least 3,000 total hours and eligibility for an NZCAA D-Category instructor rating. The airline advertises staff-travel privileges for employees and family members and life or terminal-illness cover for eligible permanent New Zealand employees.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver flight simulator and classroom instruction to ATR pilots, supporting initial, recurrent and upgrade training.
- Conduct flight checks, assessments and evaluations in line with NZCAA Part 121 standards.

Requirements
- Eligibility to live and work permanently in New Zealand at the time of applying (NZ Citizen, NZ Permanent Resident, or Australian Citizen).
- NZCAA CPL or ATPL.
- Instructional experience.
- Minimum 3000 hours total flight time.
- Eligibility to hold an NZCAA D-Category Instructor Rating.
