About This Role
PayPal seeks a corporate pilot responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft transporting executives and clients. The role covers detailed flight planning, aircraft inspections, regulatory compliance, air traffic control coordination, emergency management, and passenger safety and comfort. The position lists 90% travel and requires substantial flying experience, an ATP certificate, and a first-class FAA medical certificate.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate company aircraft safely and efficiently in compliance with aviation regulations and company policies.
- Create and execute detailed flight plans accounting for weather, fuel requirements, and potential obstacles.
- Perform thorough pre-flight inspections of aircraft systems and equipment, including engines, landing gear, and navigation systems.
- Coordinate with air traffic control during take-off, flight, and landing.
- Manage in-flight emergencies using sound problem-solving skills and established emergency procedures.
- Maintain passenger comfort and safety by addressing passenger needs and communicating flight details.

Requirements
- Minimum qualifications include 10+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Candidates must have at least 5,000 hours of total flying time, including 2,000 hours of turbine/multi-engine time, an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certification, and a First-Class Medical Certificate from the US Federal Aviation Administration.
