About This Role
SAS offers a Direct Entry Captain position on the A320 fleet in Copenhagen (Kastrup), with the option of a 100% full-time contract or a flexible 83.3% part-time agreement. Permanent contract with a starting salary of 75,493 DKK/month (100%) or 62,861 DKK/month (83.3%), fully funded type-rating with a 3-year bond, competitive pension, minimum 11 days off per month, 42 days of annual leave, and worldwide staff travel benefits. Career progression to A330/A350 or roles in Training and Management is available. SAS operates a modern fleet of more than 100 Airbus narrow- and widebody aircraft from its hub at Copenhagen Airport.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Direct Entry Captain on the A320 fleet flying from Copenhagen (CPH).
- Flying environment spans Nordic winter operations and busy international airspaces.
- Option of 100% full-time or 83.3% seasonal part-time pattern (100% rostering during summer and December, 50-75% during the rest of the year).
Requirements
- Minimum Requirements: Unrestricted EASA ATPL (A)
- EASA ATPL(A), CPL(A), or MPL (Non-Scandinavian EASA licenses accepted, but must be converted before course start)
- Valid Class 1 Medical
- Valid Instrument Rating
- ICAO English Level 5 or 6
- Unrestricted right to live and work in the EU
- Clean criminal record. Minimum Flight Time Requirements: 4,000+ hours Total Time
- 2,000+ hours on jet aircraft or high-speed turboprops
- 1,000+ hours PIC on aircraft with MTOW above 55.0T
- Experience with winter operations.
