About This Role
Driscoll's, the global market leader in fresh berries, is seeking an experienced Corporate Pilot to operate their King Air 350 based in Watsonville, California. This full-time position requires a pilot with strong IFR skills, excellent airmanship for short-runway and unimproved dirt strip operations, and extensive multi-engine turboprop experience. Candidates must have a minimum of 2,000 total flight hours with 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command and 500 hours in jet or turboprop aircraft. The position offers a competitive salary of $145,000-$185,000 annually with comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid leave, along with the opportunity to support Driscoll's global agricultural operations with domestic and international travel.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate King Air 350 aircraft on domestic and international flights
- Conduct preflight planning and preparation duties
- Ensure aircraft, weather, and flight plan meet operational requirements
- Verify aircraft certificates and manuals are on board before flight
- Maintain compliance with Part 91 and Part 135 regulations
- Report safety issues and hazards to Chief Pilot via Safety Management System
- Attend regularly scheduled ground and simulator training
- Maintain current licenses and certificates
- Assist with loading/unloading baggage and passenger services as required
- Communicate with Assistant Chief Pilots on operational issues
- Maintain current knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures and FAA guidance
- Represent Driscoll's professionally in all business interactions

Requirements
- Commercial Multi-Engine Land license (minimum required)
- Airline Transport Pilot license (preferred)
- FAA First Class Medical Certificate
- King Air 300/350 type rating (preferred)
- 2,000 hours total logged flight experience
- 1,500 hours Pilot in Command
- 500 hours in Jet or Turboprop aircraft
- 200 hours in type (preferred)
- California Driver's License or ability to convert
- High School diploma (minimum)
- Valid passport and ability to travel internationally without restrictions
- Part 91 and Part 135 compliance knowledge
- Strong IFR background
- Excellent short-runway and unimproved airfield airmanship
