flyExclusive is hiring a Citation XLS First Officer, serving as Second In Command on fully remote, Kinston-based employment. The SIC reports administratively to the Chief Pilot and operationally to the Pilot-in-Command during flight, assisting with the preparation and safe, efficient operation of company aircraft on domestic Part 135 assignments. Duties & Responsibilities
- The Second In Command reports administratively to the Chief Pilot and reports to the Pilot-in-Command during flight. The SIC assists the PIC in preparing for and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures. Duties include conducting safe and efficient flight operations for domestic trip assignments under Part 135 while maintaining a high level of customer service
- following all company procedures manuals
- maintaining a current first-class medical certificate and notifying the company if a physical or mental condition may impair flight duties
- maintaining professionalism
- coordinating and leading the crew
- greeting passengers
- assisting with passenger seating and luggage storage
- conducting passenger briefings
- responding to passenger requests and needs
- and performing other assigned duties. Travel is required 100% while on rotation.

Requirements
- Required qualifications include working knowledge of all Federal Aviation Regulations applicable to Part 135 and thorough knowledge of FAA, ICAO, and other international flight-operations regulations.
- Candidates need strong organization, advanced multitasking, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, presentation, problem-solving, critical-thinking, time-management, memorization, reasoning, quick-learning, adaptability, detail-orientation, and attention-to-detail skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure, handle difficult conversations, work in a team atmosphere, use Microsoft Office and web-based or mobile applications, and manage data entry.
- The pilot must have completed an ATP, hold an FAA First Class Medical, have at least 2,000 hours of fixed-wing total time and at least 200 hours of multi-engine time, hold a valid passport, be able to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted travel to and from Canada as a commercial pilot, and hold an appropriate type rating.
