About This Role
Airspeed Aviation, a regionally-based charter operator in Tamworth NSW, seeks an experienced multi-engine pilot and flight instructor to operate light and turbine aircraft while delivering IFR and MEA training. This full-time position offers career progression into turbine operations and senior roles, with a track record of pilot advancement into RFDS and airline positions. The role combines charter flying with instructional duties in a supportive, community-focused environment with lower cost of living than major Australian cities.
Requirements
- Australian Citizen or current right to work in Australia
- Located in Australia
- Current Australian CPL with Instrument Rating
- Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Instructor Rating with Grade 2, MEA, IFR, NGT and DFT endorsements
- Minimum 800 hours total flight time
- Minimum 100 hours multi-engine experience
- Demonstrated hospitality and customer service skills
- Positivity and energy with passion for GA
- Tailwheel and aerobatics experience (nice to have)
- GTE and PXS endorsements (nice to have)
- Remote charter experience (nice to have)
- Leadership/Management experience (nice to have)
