About This Role
Solairus Aviation is hiring a Full-Time Client Aviation Manager (CAM) to lead a flight department at KSLC (Salt Lake City). The CAM supervises flight-department personnel, coordinates crew/maintenance training and scheduling, oversees compliance and the Safety Management System, and must hold a Challenger 604 type rating and first-class medical while meeting substantial pilot flight-hour minimums.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervises assigned personnel to ensure compliance with Solairus, FAA and other Manuals and applicable regulations.
- Coordinates, schedules and reviews crew and maintenance personnel training.
- Develops scheduling procedures with clients, approves PTO and expense accounts, conducts personnel meetings, participates in interviews, notifies the Client Responsible Officer of pilot relief needs, maintains training currency and monthly flight-time records, and actively participates in the Safety Management System (SMS).

- MEL = 1500 hours
- MEL PIC = 500 hours
- Time in Turbo Jet = 500
- Instrument Time = 250 hours. A management background with a demonstrated track record of exceptional leadership skill is required. NBAA CAM certification or other applicable leadership training is preferred. Typed on Challenger 604. First class medical required. Must be able to work on an on-call basis. Must be able to complete ICAO International procedures training annually. Must be located or willing to relocate within 2 hours of KSLC.
