About This Role
Solairus Aviation is hiring a Full-Time Client Aviation Manager (CAM) to lead a flight department at Washington Dulles (KIAD). The CAM supervises assigned crew and maintenance personnel, coordinates training and scheduling, manages the account, and must be a type-rated Challenger 300 pilot with a first class medical, working on-call and located within 2 hours of KIAD.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervises assigned personnel to ensure compliance with the policies and procedures contained in Solairus, FAA and other Manuals, as well as applicable regulations.
- Coordinates, schedules and reviews applicable crew and maintenance personnel training.
- Develops scheduling procedures with clients.
- Approves and schedules PTO for all assigned personnel.
- Conducts meetings with all personnel.
- Notifies the applicable Client Responsible Officer of anticipated needs for pilot relief.
- Maintains a Training Currency and Monthly Flight Time Record on each crewmember assigned to the account.
- Actively participates in the Safety Management System (SMS) implementation and initiatives.
Requirements
- Total time = 3000 hours PIC = 1500 hours MEL = 1500 hours MEL PIC = 500 hours Time in Turbo Jet = 500 Instrument Time = 250 hours.
- A management background with a demonstrated track record of exceptional leadership skill is required to be considered for this position.
- NBAA CAM certification or other applicable leadership training is preferred.
- Typed on Challenger 300.
- First class medical required.
- Must be able to work on an on-call basis.
- Must be able to complete ICAO International procedures training annually.
- Must be located or willing to relocate within 2 hours of KIAD.
