About This Role
Lufthansa City Airlines, the youngest member of the Lufthansa Group, is seeking an experienced Captain with TRI/TRE qualifications for their A220 operations based in Munich. This is a brand-new airline launched in 2022, focused on short- and medium-haul European routes with plans to expand to Frankfurt in spring 2026. The role requires a minimum of 5000 total flight hours and 1000 hours PIC on CS-25 aircraft, with proven instructor experience and valid EASA ATPL(A) license. - Operate Lufthansa City Airlines aircraft safely and efficiently
- Conduct pre-flight checks and crew briefings
- Act responsibly and sustainably in all operations
- Actively shape and contribute to the development of Lufthansa City Airlines
- Deliver reliable travel experience in Lufthansa quality standards

Requirements
- Valid EASA ATPL(A) license
- Valid CS-25 Type Rating
- Valid TRI/TRE qualification (A220 TRI/TRE preferred)
- Minimum 5000 hours total flight time
- Minimum 1000 hours PIC on CS-25 aircraft
- Proven experience as an instructor
- Valid Class I Medical Certificate
- General higher education entrance qualification (Abitur/Fachhochschulreife or equivalent)
- EU citizenship or unrestricted residence and work permit
- Passport with unlimited validity (if no EU passport, entry restrictions must be no stricter than EU passport)
- Confident verbal and written English language skills (ICAO Language Proficiency Level 4 minimum)
