About This Role
Air Independence, a charter and aircraft sales company based in Munich, is seeking an experienced Captain for their Pilatus PC-12 operations. This full-time position requires an EASA ATPL or CPL license holder with current PC-12 type rating and at least 1500 total flight hours, including 100 hours on type. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional flying skills, strong customer service orientation, multilingual abilities (English Level 5+, German fluency required), and be available for rapid response from Munich airport. Additional qualifications such as TRI/TRE ratings and charter operations experience are highly valued.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate Pilatus PC-12 on charter flights
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and safety checks
- Manage crew resource management and safety procedures
- Provide high-quality customer service to charter clients
- Maintain technical knowledge of aircraft systems
- Complete flight documentation and reports
Requirements
- Valid EASA ATPL or CPL license
- Current PC-12 type rating (must be current)
- Valid EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Minimum 1500 total flight hours
- Minimum 100 flight hours on PC-12 type
- Excellent flying skills and technical understanding
- ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 or higher
- Fluent German language skills
- Valid passport with no restrictions (non-EU: valid residence and work permit in Germany)
- Service orientation and strong communication skills
- Intercultural competence
- Reliable and responsible demeanor
- Resident in Munich during standby periods (on-call within 1 hour of Munich airport)
