BA Cityflyer is recruiting a permanent, full-time direct-entry pilot for its Embraer 190 operation at London City Airport. The role involves serving business and leisure customers on routes across the United Kingdom and Europe, including rostered night stops, in a demanding operation at one of the industry’s most distinctive airports. Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate the Embraer 190 from London City Airport as part of BA Cityflyer’s passenger operation across the United Kingdom and Europe.
- Provide business and leisure customers with a high-quality flight experience into the heart of London, maintain the professional standards required by a demanding and distinctive airport operation, and deliver industry-defining customer service.
- Pilots may undertake night stops as part of their roster and are expected to demonstrate responsibility, resilience, commitment, customer orientation, adaptability and an inspiring approach.

Requirements
- Applicants must hold a UK Part-FCL licence, or hold an EASA licence and meet the UK CAA Third Country CPL and ATPL licence-conversion requirements under route 3, 4, 5 or 6.
- At the time of application, candidates must hold or previously have held a Multi Pilot Aircraft Rating and must have either at least 500 hours of flight time or 100 route sectors on a Multi Pilot Aircraft.
- They must also have a valid Class 1 medical with at least six months remaining on the joining date and ICAO English proficiency at Level 6.
- Hours and ratings will be verified during screening and assessment.
- Candidates may apply to only one of British Airways, BA Euroflyer or BA Cityflyer at a time.
- Previous applicants must observe the applicable six-month reapplication period after unsuccessful screening, video interview, capacity testing or assessment-centre stages, or 12 months after an unsuccessful simulator stage.
- Right-to-work sponsorship is unavailable.
