About This Role
TUI Airline is recruiting B737 type-rated pilots for UK bases (job ID 137494) on a permanent, rostered contract that runs full time in summer and part time in winter with a total of 13 weeks off across the period. Joiners start as First Officers with active mentoring from experienced Captains, flying TUI's leisure route network. Benefits include a pension scheme with employer contributions of up to 10%, life assurance, loss of licence cover, private medical insurance, and holiday offers and rates on late-notice flights, accommodation and cruises. Candidates need a UK CAA-issued CPL with ATPL theory credits, a valid B737 type rating with completed base training, a UK CAA Class 1 Medical, ICAO English Level 4 and the legal right to live and work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available. Base is confirmed at the point of offer.

Requirements
- Unrestricted and valid UK CAA‑issued CPL with ATPL theory credits
- Valid B737 type rating with a completed base training
- Valid UK CAA Class 1 Medical
- Minimum ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4
- Valid passport permitting unrestricted worldwide travel
- Legal right to live and work in the United Kingdom without restrictions (visa sponsorship is not available)
- Ability to pass pre‑employment and airport security background checks required for the issuance of an airport ID
- Minimum height: 1.58m (5ft 2in)
- Able to swim at least 25m
- Able to report to home base within a maximum commuting time of 90 minutes when on standby duty
- Please be aware that your roster will vary significantly with no fixed pattern, and we do not offer commuting contracts
