About This Role
Lauda Europe, part of Ryanair Group, is recruiting experienced First Officers for its expanding A320 operation across a range of European bases. Current opportunities may be available in Vienna, Zadar, and Zagreb. This is expressly not a cadet position: applicants must meet the stated flight-time and recent Airbus operating-experience thresholds, and candidates whose experience is limited to the A330 or A340 must complete an Airbus CCQ course.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as an experienced First Officer in Lauda Europe's expanding operation within Ryanair Group, supporting flights from the airline's available European bases.
- Pilots entering with only A330 or A340 experience must complete the required Airbus CCQ course before joining the A320 operation.
- The position offers a route toward later operational and training appointments such as SFI, LTC, TRE, and Base Captain.

Requirements
- Applicants must have an unrestricted right to live and work in the EU and must not be over 65 years of age.
- They must hold an EASA Part-FCL licence and a valid EU Part-MED Class 1 medical certificate.
- Mandatory experience comprises at least 1,200 hours of total flying time, 1,000 hours on CS-25 aircraft, and 800 hours on the A320 family, A330, A340, or a combination of those types.
- An A320, A330, or A340 type rating must be listed on the applicant's licence.
- The application must be submitted within 36 months of the most recent relevant type-rating validity date, and the applicant must have operated an A320, A330, or A340 during the 36 months before the course begins.
- Candidates with only A330 or A340 experience must complete an Airbus CCQ course.
- Applicants must demonstrate ICAO English Language Proficiency at Operational Level 4 or higher, including written proficiency, pass an enhanced background check, and satisfy all other regulatory requirements.
- Shortlisted candidates must complete a two-phase assessment consisting of a €60 AON online assessment, reimbursed after successful recruitment and commencement of training, followed by a simulator assessment, in-person interview, and comprehensive psychological evaluation.
- All stated minimum requirements are mandatory and cannot be waived, amended, or negotiated.
