About This Role
Skyborne Airline Academy is seeking a UK Flight Instructor to provide professional flight and ground instruction to independent and contract students in Vero Beach. The instructor will deliver training under applicable FAA regulations and Skyborne course outlines, manage student progress and scheduling, maintain accurate training records, and promote safe operating practices throughout the programme.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct flight training for assigned independent and contract students in accordance with FARs, Skyborne course outlines, and applicable contract training courses. Teach assigned training courses, manage student training within the syllabus and schedule, maintain accurate student logbooks and training records, and ensure students are scheduled for stage checks on time. Maintain currency in procedures and regulations, achieve at least an 80% pass rate on non-final and final stage checks, complete periodic line checks and evaluation flights, and adhere to standard operating procedures and regulations. - and uphold a high level of personal proficiency and professionalism. Participate in and promote the safety culture, report aviation safety issues through the feedback system, and perform other tasks assigned by the Program Manager, Chief Instructor, or Center Director.

Requirements
- Applicants must hold current CFI, CFII, and MEI certificates, together with either a Commercial Pilot Certificate or an ATP with appropriate ratings.
- Candidates must meet all FAA, company, and aircraft-specific qualification requirements and maintain the required currency and proficiency.
- The role also requires compliance with instructor recency requirements under FAR 61.57 and annual recurrent instructor standardization under FAR 141.
