About This Role
Queensland Government Air seeks an experienced Training and Checking Pilot to join their Fixed Wing operations in Brisbane, delivering pilot training and conducting flight checks while supporting government aviation services across Queensland. The role combines instructional duties with single-pilot IFR operations on aircraft such as the B360 and C208, requiring strong safety and CRM expertise. Requirements
- Current Australian Commercial Pilots Licence (CPL)
- Flight Instructor Rating (FIR) – CLR MEA
- Multi Engine Command Instrument Rating – 4 Renewals
- Minimum 4000 hours total flight time
- Minimum 3000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC)
- Minimum 200 hours Night PIC
- Minimum 1000 hours Multi-Engine PIC
- Minimum 500 hours Turbine PIC
- Recent Fixed Wing Single-Pilot experience within 2 years
- Current Australian Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) or eligible to hold
- Valid Class 1 Aviation Medical Certificate
- Current and valid Australian passport
- Highly Desirable: Current Australian Air Transport Pilots Licence (ATPL)
- Highly Desirable: Flight Examiner Rating (FER)
- Highly Desirable: B360 Type Rating
- Highly Desirable: C208 or similar aircraft experience
