Turkish Airlines' Take-Off Cadet program is a comprehensive 15-18 month pilot development program designed for young university graduates with no prior pilot training. Candidates receive theoretical and practical training followed by type rating training (3-6 months) before joining Turkish Airlines as First Officers. Open to Turkish citizens or Blue Card holders born between 1996-2005.
Requirements
- Turkish citizen or Blue Card holder
- Minimum undergraduate degree (completed within 2 years 1 month of standard duration)
- Born between 01.01.1996 and 31.12.2005
- Height between 160 cm and 195 cm
- BMI between 20 and 30
- Completed military service or valid deferment for at least 2 years as of training start
- No criminal record or archived criminal record
- Not dismissed from Turkish Airlines or previous employers
- Fluent Turkish proficiency (for Blue Card holders or multiple citizenship holders)
- No prior participation in pilot training programs (PPL, CPL, ATPL)
- IELTS (General or Academic) minimum 6.0 overall, speaking 6.0 minimum
- OR PTE (Academic) minimum 53, speaking 53 minimum
- OR TOEFL iBT minimum 60, speaking 18 minimum
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
- English language certificate obtained within last 2 years
- Meet Turkish Airlines health assessment criteria
- Minimum 3 years service at Turkish Airlines (for current employees, waived for 1996-born employees)
