About This Role
Emirates Flight Training is a modern, forward-thinking division using Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) and fully implementing Evidence-Based Training (EBT). This is an experienced, non-flying, ground-based Synthetic Flight Instructor role in the Flight Training department, delivering training through Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTD) and ground school in line with GCAA regulations and Emirates standards, with an emphasis on continuous professional development, standardisation and modern training methods.
Duties & Responsibilities
- As an SFI, deliver FSTD type-rating, recurrent and recency training and ground-school instruction in line with company requirements.
- Complete and submit detailed assessments and reports accurately through the electronic reporting system.
- Recommend additional or remedial training when pilots do not meet performance standards, provide training management with feedback on possible improvements to training efficiency, safety and instructional methods, and contribute to ad hoc projects, course development and other training-related initiatives.

The package includes an annual basic salary of up to AED 376,320 (USD 102,460) and an annual transport allowance of AED 24,180 (USD 6,580). Requirements
- Candidates must hold or have held a CPL (Commercial Pilot Licence), MPL (Multi-Crew Pilot Licence), or ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot Licence).
- They must have a minimum of 12 months of experience as an active instructor or examiner, a minimum of 1500 hours of flight time as a pilot on a multipilot aeroplane, and advanced communication and leadership skills.
