About This Role
flydubai Synthetic Flight Instructor role based in Dubai, UAE, delivering mandated pilot training on flydubai simulators in line with GCAA requirements and flydubai training programme standards. The instructor runs simulator sessions supporting the issue, revalidation and renewal of Instrument Ratings, provides oversight and feedback on flight-crew performance, and assists recruitment through simulator assessment of new-hire candidates.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct pilot training on flydubai 737 simulators required for the issue, revalidation and renewal of Instrument Ratings
- assess training procedures against the Operations Manual and flydubai operating policies and flag gaps to management
- provide oversight and guidance to flight crew on procedure updates and propose safety and efficiency improvements
- evaluate and document pilot performance, recommend tailored remedial training, and file progress reports
- complete and administer required training records
- and support the recruitment team by assessing candidate competence in the simulator and completing new-hire assessment reports.
Requirements
- High school diploma and fluent English.
- 2,000 hours total flight time, including 1,500 hours as a pilot on multi-pilot aircraft, and 7 to 9 years of experience.
- Candidates are expected to hold or to have held an Instrument Rating on the 737 and to have completed the Instrument Rating Instructor course.
