About This Role
Jet2 is recruiting an experienced full-time Synthetic Flight Examiner to support Boeing 737-800 simulator checking and training. This is a non-flying role supporting the airline's initial and recurrent training programme, with additional potential work in classroom technical instruction, standardisation, and courseware development. The position operates within Jet2's UK CAA-approved ATO and offers involvement in Boeing training development, varied training locations, and continuing professional support for SFI/SFE qualification revalidation.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Synthetic Flight Examiner will support the delivery of FSTD checking and training across Jet2's Boeing initial and recurrent training programme.
- The role may also include classroom technical training, standardisation activity, and contribution to courseware development.
- The successful examiner will deliver simulator checking and training to a high professional and standardised level, support Boeing technical training development, and work with the Jet2 ATO Training and Flight Operations teams.

Requirements
- Jet2 is seeking an experienced Boeing examiner who can deliver high-quality simulator checking and training in a professional, standardised, and supportive manner. Applicants should have significant Boeing 737 family instructional and examining experience, a current or recent UK CAA-issued SFE/SFI qualification on the Boeing 737 family, and at least 1,500 hours on multi-pilot aircraft. The role also requires strong instructional, assessment, and evaluation skills
