About This Role
Woolpert, a global leader in architecture, engineering, and geospatial services, is seeking experienced Survey Pilots to join their Aerial Acquisition operations team based in Johannesburg, South Africa. The role involves flying various turboprop aircraft on aerial survey missions across Africa, requiring extensive fieldwork and flexibility for deployments up to 6 weeks. Candidates need a minimum CPL with 1,000 total flight hours, current night and instrument ratings, and preferably experience on twin-engine turbine aircraft. Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct aerial survey missions across various locations in Africa
- Operate turboprop aircraft on geospatial and aerial survey operations
- Execute survey flight plans and maintain mission parameters
- Support Woolpert's world-class aerial data operations
- Perform fieldwork in challenging environments

Requirements
- Valid Commercial Pilot's License (CPL)
- Current Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Minimum 1,000 hours total flight time
- Current night rating
- Current instrument rating
- Valid passport
- Flexible to work away from base for up to 6 weeks at a time
- Type-rated on twin-engine aircraft (preferred)
- Experience flying turbine aircraft (preferred)
- CRM (Crew Resource Management) certification
- DG (Dangerous Goods) certification
- SEPT (Safety and Emergency Procedures Training) certification
- SMS (Safety Management Systems) certification (advantageous)
