About This Role
San Carlos Flight Center (a Part 61 flight school in San Carlos, CA) full-time Staff Flight Instructor (CFI) role. New CFIs are welcome; instructors teach students, maintain safety and documentation, and progress students' training. No specific aircraft type or flight-hour minimum is stated.
Duties & Responsibilities
- PIC command of your students' training paths.
- Prepared for student lessons.
- Work well with others (ATC, line service, front desk, mx).
- We are Part 61 and believe in a strong, thorough syllabus that includes many enhanced training experiences.
Requirements

- Adherence to FAA, airport, and club rules.
- Knowledge of our teaching methods.
- Good documentation of student training.
- Effective, quality instruction.
- Note: we do not have a minimum dual given hours requirement.
