About This Role
CAE Australia is seeking a Simulator Pilot Instructor to support KC-30A MRTT pilot training at Amberley. The role reports through the KC-30A instructional structure and provides training, assessment, administrative, subject matter expert and safety-management support for initial qualification, upgrade and currency programmes.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Simulator Pilot Instructor reports to the KC-30A Key Account Manager for the role and to the KC-30A Lead Instructor for instructional responsibilities. Duties include providing training, administrative and subject matter expert support for KC-30A MRTT Pilot Initial Qualification courses, secondary upgrade courses and currency training
- coordinating with other resident instructional staff
- preparing, delivering, assessing, maintaining and evaluating training and assessment materials
- and delivering instruction in the classroom and simulator as required. The role also contributes to Environmental Health and Safety and Aviation Safety Management activities related to the training platform, reports those activities to the Lead Instructor, and supports internal CAE business initiatives as directed by the Lead Instructor.
