About This Role
Discover Airlines, the Lufthansa Group leisure carrier based in Frankfurt, is recruiting a part-time (50 to 60 percent) Simulator Ground Instructor and Examiner for its A320 and A330 fleets. The role delivers type-rating instruction (SFI/TRI) on both fleets and examiner duties (SFE/TRE) on at least one fleet, and provides theoretical (ground school) training for the airline's pilots. It is a fixed-term ground position of 24 months and cannot be combined with line flying.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as the instructor (SFI/TRI) delivering type-rating training on both the A320 and A330 fleets.
- Carry out examiner (SFE/TRE) duties on at least one fleet (A320 or A330).
- Provide theoretical (ground school) instruction to the airline's pilots.
- Use your feedback and input to support continuous improvement of the training programme.

Requirements
- A valid SFI/TRI instructor rating on the A320 and/or A330 is required, ideally covering both types.
- A valid SFE/TRE examiner rating on the A320 and/or A330 is also required, ideally covering both types.
- Candidates must bring several years of prior training experience on the A320 and/or A330.
