About This Role
Sierra Nevada Corporation's ISR, Aviation and Security business area seeks a Senior Pilot (deployed-only) based out of Shalimar, Florida, to lead complex manned-ISR flight missions OCONUS. The role leads and mentors junior pilots, plans and executes missions (including casualty evacuation, maritime patrol and experimental test flights), and requires an active Secret U.S. security clearance from day one.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and execute complex flight missions across diverse operational environments
- supervise and mentor junior pilots
- perform casualty evacuation, maritime patrol and experimental test flights
- ensure mission readiness through planning, risk assessment and coordination
- enforce safety and aviation-regulation compliance
- analyze flight data and mission outcomes
- and support strategic and operational decision-making.

Requirements
- Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time
- Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with instrument and multi-engine ratings without limitations
- FAA Class II Medical Certificate
- minimum 1,500 hours fixed-wing PIC in a multi-engine turboprop and/or jet with GTOW of 12,500 lb or greater (rotary-wing and single-engine time not counted). Able to pass an FAA/Military pilot background check and drug/alcohol screen
- willing to deploy OCONUS on an approximate 60/30 rotation
- active Secret U.S. security clearance and U.S. citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications
- military flight training, prior ISR and Dash 8 experience, OCONUS experience, and ATP certification.
