About This Role
One Air, a new UK-based cargo operator, is seeking experienced Senior First Officers to join their expanding Boeing 747 fleet based at East Midlands Airport. The airline operates B747-400SF aircraft for full charter services and is rapidly growing its pilot team. Candidates must have at least 1000 hours on Boeing aircraft with valid type rating and recent experience on type. The position offers a competitive salary of £91,000 per annum with a flexible 20/10 or 16/8 roster, comprehensive benefits including private healthcare, pension contributions, and per diem allowances. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship is not available.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate B747-400SF on cargo charter flights
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and crew briefings
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures
- Manage fuel, weight and balance, and flight planning
- Maintain operational documentation and flight reports

Requirements
- Valid UK CAA ATPL license
- Valid UK CAA Class One Medical Certificate
- Valid B747 type rating and instrument rating
- Current and recent experience on B747 (flown in last 12 months)
- Minimum 1000 hours on Boeing aircraft
- Right to live and work in UK (no visa sponsorship available)
- Valid unrestricted worldwide travel passport
- Recency on type
