About This Role
Hunt Companies, a corporate flight department based in El Paso, Texas, is seeking an experienced Senior Captain to command their business jet operations. Reporting to the Director of Flight Operations, the Senior Captain will be responsible for all aircraft operations, safety, and crew management with PIC authority. Candidates must have a minimum of 5000 total flight hours with 2500 hours of multiengine turbine time, a valid ATP certificate, and First Class Medical. Duties & Responsibilities
- Command and exercise final authority for safe aircraft operation
- Maintain safety culture and efficient procedures supporting customer service
- Direct activities of flight crew and ensure understanding of duties and responsibilities
- Verify airworthiness of assigned aircraft and proper documentation
- Make decisions regarding flight start, delay, cancellation, or destination deviation as needed
- Provide crew and passenger briefings on flight purpose, weather, procedures, and special instructions
- Conduct pre-flight aircraft inspection for defects and verify weight distribution and fuel compliance
- Prepare or supervise flight plan preparation considering aircraft performance, weather, and navigational factors
- Ensure weather and aircraft performance conditions are met before departure
- Verify proper completion of weight and balance forms and manifests
- Report known or suspected FAA violations or safety concerns to Flight Department Manager or Chief Pilot
- Ensure crew provide appropriate passenger briefings for each flight phase
- Verify emergency equipment is aboard and cargo is properly secured
- Complete flight logs and company tracking forms for each flight
- Communicate maintenance discrepancies to maintenance personnel and alert to aircraft status
- Operate company vehicles for business purposes as needed

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Minimum 5000 hours total pilot flight time
- Minimum 2500 hours multiengine turbine time
- Large-cabin aircraft operating experience preferred
- Prior experience operating aircraft requiring two pilots (crew concept) preferred
- Zero FAA accidents, incidents, or violations
- Excellent CRM skills
- Ability to successfully complete type rating course for company aircraft
- Excellent customer service skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Fluent in English, written and oral
- Valid Driver's License, in-state
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certification with Airplane Multiengine Land rating
- Valid First Class Medical Certificate
- Restricted Radiotelephone Operators Permit (FCC)
- CPR certification preferred
- First Aid CPR AED preferred
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds overhead
- Pass drug screening and background check
- Pass motor vehicle record check
