About This Role
Revv Aviation is seeking a Second in Command based at FXE in Fort Lauderdale for international charter missions, primarily serving Mexico, the Caribbean, and the Bahamas. The SIC will support the captain in safe and efficient flight operations, complete pre- and post-flight duties, follow company manuals and procedures, participate in required training and the Safety Management System, and represent Revv professionally with customers.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Work the assigned schedule while safely and effectively completing all assigned international charter missions.
- Assist the captain with the safe and efficient completion of each flight, perform pre-flight and post-flight responsibilities, comply with the General Operations Manual and Standard Operating Procedures, complete required training, and participate in the Safety Management System.
- Serve as a professional, customer-focused ambassador for Revv while operating in a multi-crew environment and applying effective Crew Resource Management.
Requirements
- Applicants must hold an FAA Commercial Pilot License with Instrument and Multi-Engine authorization, be authorized to work in the United States, hold at least a First Class Medical, and possess a valid passport.
- The role requires no aviation accidents or incidents for which the pilot was responsible, knowledge of FAA regulations and aircraft maintenance procedures, customer and client focus, successful completion of FAA drug and alcohol screening and background checks, and willingness to submit to random drug testing.
- King Air experience is highly preferred.
- Candidates must be able to work effectively in a multi-crew environment using good Crew Resource Management.
- Required flight experience includes 750 hours total flight time, 250 hours PIC, 25 hours multi-engine, 50 hours night, 35 hours instrument flight time including 25 hours in an aircraft, and at least 25 hours flown within the previous six months.
- Physical requirements include working in confined spaces, lifting or manipulating objects over 150 pounds, climbing onto and off an aircraft wing, performing aircraft preflight and post-flight tasks, and completing flights of up to 4.5 hours with up to 10 hours of flight time in a 14-hour duty period.
- A 12-month training contract is required from completion of initial training.
