About This Role
NW Seaplanes is recruiting a seasonal Seaplane Pilot to support its summer operations from May through mid-October. Based in Renton, Washington, the company operates scheduled and charter flights through NW Seaplanes and sister company Friday Harbor Seaplanes to the San Juan Islands and British Columbia's Coast, serving boating, salmon-fishing and tourist destinations. Resumes are being accepted for the 2027 season.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The pilot will operate the DHC-2 Beaver in the company's seasonal scheduled and charter seaplane operations.
- The role carries overall responsibility for passenger safety and requires superior piloting and judgment skills, along with the ability to work effectively as a team player.
Requirements
- Applicants must hold a Commercial Single Engine Seaplane Pilot qualification, have at least 1,000 hours of total flight time and at least 50 hours of float time.
- The posting identifies 25 hours in the DHC-2 as preferred, while Part 135 experience is described as a definite plus.
- The position is seasonal and resumes are being accepted for the 2027 season.
