About This Role
Mission Aviation Fellowship is seeking a Seaplane Pilot to operate the Cessna 208B Grand Caravan Amphibian in Papua New Guinea. This is a permanent position based in Port Moresby supporting general aviation operations in remote areas. Candidates must have a minimum of 1000 hours total flight time with 100 hours turbine PIC, a CPL with float rating, and ICAO English Level 6. The position offers visa sponsorship and the opportunity to work in challenging remote area commercial aviation operations with experienced crew.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate Cessna 208B Grand Caravan Amphibian on commercial flights
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and safety checks
- Perform seaplane operations in remote areas of Papua New Guinea
- Manage aircraft performance and loading calculations
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures
- Operate in IFR conditions as required

Requirements
- Minimum 1000 hours total flight time
- Minimum 100 hours turbine PIC
- Valid CPL license with float rating
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
- ICAO English Level 6
- PNG or remote area operational experience in commercial aviation
- Experience and recent proficiency in operation of small aircraft to CPL standard
- Demonstrated proficiency in aircraft performance and loading
- Knowledge of aerodynamics, aircraft systems, weather, and aircraft instrumentation
- Demonstrated knowledge of crew resource management and pilot decision making
- Knowledge of safety and quality systems
- Aptitude in verbal and numerical reasoning
- Ability to work and live in a remote location
