About This Role
Cirrus Aircraft is seeking a Sales Support Pilot based in Pontiac, Michigan to plan and conduct aircraft demonstrations, support regional events, and help Regional Sales Directors develop their territories. The role combines customer-facing aviation demonstrations with prospecting, sales presentation, event strategy, logistics coordination, performance analysis, and post-event reporting. Extensive regional travel is required, and the position is suited to an outgoing pilot who can build relationships and communicate Cirrus products effectively.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The pilot will find and qualify retail prospects through research into customer needs, financial condition, and key personnel, while developing and qualifying leads in vertical and emerging markets.
- Responsibilities include using Cirrus Marketing's technical sales and promotional resources, preparing and delivering general and special-purpose sales presentations on Cirrus products, and planning and executing events and promotional activities throughout the assigned region.
- The role will use territory health and business plans to guide event strategies, develop event concepts and themes aligned with organizational goals, and work with Regional Sales Directors to identify underdeveloped areas and growth opportunities.
- The pilot will coordinate the logistics and execution of product demonstrations, ensure demonstrations are clearly communicated and engaging for potential clients, track and analyze event performance, provide recommendations for future events, and prepare post-event reports covering successes and areas for improvement.
- Extensive travel is part of the position.

Requirements
- A bachelor's degree or two to four years of experience in sales and marketing is required.
- Applicants must hold an FAA Commercial Pilot Instrument Certificate and a second-class medical certificate.
- A CFII qualification is preferred.
- One year of prior sales or marketing experience is desired.
- The role also requires advanced Microsoft Office knowledge, computer software and internet proficiency, an outgoing personality with demonstrated relationship-building ability, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
