About This Role
Lockheed Martin is seeking a Production and Training Pilot Manager to lead training for company and customer students on production aircraft systems and oversee the Advanced Integration Center. The role combines aviation training leadership with responsibility for aircraft operations, maintenance and logistics workforces, flight-test and operational support environments, customer demonstrations, and coordination with engineering, customer support and marketing teams. The position is onsite in Grand Forks, North Dakota and requires an active Top Secret clearance.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage training for company and customer students on production aircraft systems.
- Coordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary matters, and recognition or disciplinary actions.
- Oversee operations and training for the Advanced Integration Center.
- Act as an instructor pilot for customer pilots and aircrew during syllabus-training simulator events when required, and conduct classroom training for customer pilots and aircrew.
- Demonstrate aircraft performance, flying qualities and system capabilities to customers, government officials and other personnel.
- Direct engineering and pilot input to training, customer support and marketing teams.

Requirements
- Applicants must have a bachelor's degree or higher with related experience
- experience managing operations and sustainment for USAF squadrons and wings at bases with active flight operations, including flight-test and high-tempo operational maintenance and logistics environments
- experience managing aircraft operations, maintenance and logistics workforces
- leadership skills
- experience with cost and schedule management and risk management
- and an active Top Secret clearance. Desired qualifications include 12 or more years of related experience, a broad military aircraft support background, advanced interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to communicate effectively with international customers, partner companies and local base authorities, prior U.S. Air Force or civilian-equivalent operational flight, maintenance and logistics experience, organizational and intermediate operations experience, expert authority in operations and support disciplines, familiarity with aircraft logistics, test and evaluation requirements, maintenance information systems and technical publications, and knowledge of pilot and maintainer systems and processes, development and technical directive implementation, and logistics support. Active TS/SCI clearance and SAP eligibility are also desired.
