About This Role
CAE Simuflite Inc is hiring a Praetor Instructor Pilot in Dallas to deliver high-quality simulator and ground training. The role develops pilot confidence and skills through structured training, comprehensive briefings, subject-matter expertise, accurate records, and instruction supporting licenses, type ratings, certificates, and internal qualifications. The instructor may later qualify as a Training Center Evaluator and customer contract check airman, while remaining active in the flight deck and contributing to CAE’s instructor development program.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver flight simulator and ground-school training in alignment with regulatory requirements, CAE curriculum, and customer expectations.
- Conduct professional, comprehensive pre- and post-flight simulator briefings and act as a subject-matter expert for client training and internal course development.
- Complete training records, maintain instructional qualifications, recommend remedial training when needed, and provide instruction across one or more aircraft types for licenses, type ratings, certificates, and internal qualifications.
- After approximately 1.5 or more years, subject to business need, qualify as a Training Center Evaluator and customer contract check airman.

Requirements
- Minimum qualifications include an unrestricted ATP certificate or completion of the ATP Written, basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet-based programs, participation in CAE’s DOT Drug & Alcohol testing program, authorization to work in the United States, strong communication skills, and a passion for teaching. Preferred qualifications include an unrestricted PIC Type Rating, FAR Part 135 experience, 3,000+ total flight hours, business-aircraft experience, prior instructional or training experience, the ability to tailor training for diverse customers, careful recordkeeping to CAE and FAA standards, a customer-service mindset, and strong verbal and written communication.
