About This Role
CAE Simuflite is seeking an Instructor Pilot for Praetor aircraft training at their Dallas facility. This is a flight simulator and ground school training position where you will develop pilot skills through high-quality instruction and comprehensive briefings. The role requires a minimum ATP certificate with 3,000+ total flight hours and FAR Part 135 experience preferred. After approximately 1.5+ years, instructors qualify as Training Center Evaluators and check airmen. Requirements
- Unrestricted ATP certificate or completion of ATP Written
- Unrestricted PIC Type Rating preferred
- FAR Part 135 experience preferred
- 3,000+ total flight hours preferred
- Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and internet-based programs
- Participation in CAE's DOT Drug & Alcohol testing program
- Experience flying business aircraft highly desired
- Strong communication skills and passion for teaching
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Prior instructional or training experience preferred
- Ability to tailor training content to diverse customer base
- Strong attention to detail with commitment to accurate recordkeeping
- Demonstrated customer-service mindset
- Professional character with strong verbal and written communication skills
