About This Role
NetJets is recruiting type-rated crewmembers for Praetor 600 (EMB-550) operations in an EU-based EASA role covering both Pilot in Command and Second in Command. The position combines responsibility for safe, efficient flight operations and navigation with detailed checklist and manual compliance, safety reporting, airworthiness awareness and a strong customer-service focus aimed at satisfaction and retention. Duties & Responsibilities
- As Pilot in Command or Second in Command, the crewmember performs Aircraft Commander duties or duties assigned by the Commander to protect the safety of every flight and passenger.
- The pilot operates the aircraft safely and efficiently in accordance with company procedures, verifies safe navigation and continuously and independently checks the aircraft's geographic position and terrain clearance.
- The role requires completion of all operational procedures and checklists under the Airplane Flight Manual, Operations Manuals and the Commander's direction.
- Pilots must report any occurrence or incident that has endangered or may have endangered safety, and any fault, failure, malfunction or defect believed capable of affecting airworthiness or safe operation.
- Throughout the flight and customer interaction, they provide the best possible customer service to support customer satisfaction and retention.
Requirements
- The posting covers two crew tracks: PIC candidates must have a minimum of 3,000 hours of flight time, while SIC candidates must have a minimum of 1,500 hours. A type rating on a Praetor 500/600 or Legacy 450/500 (EMB550) is required, together with a full EASA ATPL with the appropriate type ratings and a European Union Class 1 medical. Candidates should demonstrate excellent performance, extensive global flight experience and fluency in English, preferably at Level 6. A strong commercial aviation background is sought
- experience in an EUOPS and/or AIROPS environment is an advantage, and military or airline training is also an advantage.
