About This Role
SkyShare, a Utah-based private-aviation company, is hiring an experienced Captain for a managed Praetor 600 (EMB-550) based in the Salt Lake City area, flying directly for a private owner. The company operates from bases in Ogden and Salt Lake City, UT.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Support safe, compliant flight operations for a managed Praetor 600, flying directly for a private owner while delivering high service standards. Ensure strict compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, checklists, and best practices

- and maintain a safety-first mindset with strong communication, decision-making, and accountability. This is a dedicated-aircraft assignment with a fluid schedule that can include days, nights, weekdays, weekends, and holidays, plus multi-day overnight trips away from home.
What We Offer
Annual salary of $230,000 to $240,000. Training is provided under a 12-month repayment contract broken down quarterly. Requirements
- overseas international experience
- a minimum of 4,500 hours total flight time, including 3,000 hours PIC, 1,000 hours multi-engine, 800 hours jet, and 300 hours instrument
- an FAA Commercial or Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with appropriate category and class
- a valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate
- an FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
- an FAA instrument rating
- a valid U.S. passport and driver's license
- and current IFR knowledge and experience. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Strongly
Preferred Qualifications
- 250 or more PIC hours on the EMB-550. The role involves flight duty of up to 14 hours per day for as many as 8 consecutive days across multiple time zones, and comfort working with animals carried on board.
