About This Role
Ryan Air Part 135 Cessna 208 Pilot in Command based in Anchorage, AK. Transports passengers and cargo on company aircraft while upholding safety standards; determines safe routes, analyzes flight plans and weather, calculates fuel, inspects operation and navigation systems, and assists ground crew with loading/unloading. Works a 2-week-on/2-week-off schedule and lives in company-provided housing at rural stations.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • The Pilot's responsibilities include transporting passengers and cargo on company aircraft while upholding Ryan Air's safety standards.
  • The Pilot will determine the safest routes, analyze flight plans and weather conditions, calculate fuel, and inspect operation systems and navigation equipment.
  • Additionally, Pilots are to assist the ground crew with loading and unloading of company aircraft.
Requirements
  • PART 135 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS [61.123(a), 135.243 (b)]: Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have a minimum of 1200 total flight hours.

  • Must have a valid Commercial Certificate Airplane Multi-Engine Land and Instrument rating with 'English Proficient' endorsement, issued by U.S.
  • Department of Transportation.
  • Must have a valid Second Class Medical Certificate, FAA Form 8500-9.
  • No record of any FAA 'Certificate Action' within 18 months (existing pilots) or 24 months (new-hires).
  • Must have a current valid Driver's license and U.S.
  • Passport.
  • Must pass a TSA Background Check and a pre-employment DOT/FAA Drug Test.
  • Must be able to lift 70-100 lbs.
