About This Role
Aerowest GmbH, a versatile German charter airline based at Hannover Airport (HAJ/EDDV), is recruiting pilots for its "OCC Pilot Trainee Programme". The programme develops licensed but low-experience pilots — holders of a valid CPL(IR) with ATPL(A) theory (frozen ATPL) — into experienced commercial pilots, and explicitly requires no prior flight experience to join. Trainees spend roughly the first year in the airline's Operations Control Center (OCC) learning flight operations, then, after 9–12 months, receive a guaranteed type rating on the Cessna 425 Conquest (or another type as required) and begin flying executive charter and air-ambulance missions across Europe and beyond. It is a permanent, full-time position paying €3,200 per month, worked on a stable 7/3 block roster with at least 108 home days per year and clear upgrade and further-training paths.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Initial phase (about the first year) in the Operations Control Center (OCC): handle the operational planning and support of the airline's flights
- produce flight plans, manage fuel, and coordinate airports and handling agents
- act as a point of contact for quotations and for coordinating with and supporting customers
- plan crew rostering and travel
- and carry out related commercial and administrative tasks around flights and orders. Cockpit phase (after 9–12 months in the OCC): once the guaranteed type rating begins, fly executive charter and air-ambulance missions throughout Europe and beyond on the Cessna 425 Conquest (or another type as needed).

Requirements
- A valid CPL(IR) with ATPL(A) theory (i.e. a frozen ATPL)
- no previous flight experience is required to enter the programme. Fluent German and English. Flexibility and a strong service mindset with high willingness to be deployed. Good manners and a well-groomed appearance. A Class B (car) driving licence.
