About This Role
FlightSafety International seeks a Pilot Instructor at its Paris Learning Center in Le Bourget, France to deliver ground and full-flight simulator instruction to professional pilots in accordance with aviation regulations and FlightSafety Training principles. The role conducts core, specialty or enrichment training courses, develops training materials, evaluates and measures trainee progress, and maintains instructor qualifications per regulatory requirements. Compensation includes a 67,000 Euro yearly basic salary, 7.4 weeks of vacation and public holidays, and comprehensive health insurance for the employee and family.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct pilot ground and simulator training for clients receiving core, specialty, or enrichment training courses.
- Develop and prepare training materials that support training delivery to meet the client needs in accordance with the applicable curriculum.
- Evaluate and measure trainee progress and recommend for qualification, or additional training.
- Complete accurate training records specific to each client, aiding their success in achieving the requested objective(s).
- Identify client training issues and seek assistance prior to execution.
- Maintain Instructor qualifications in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Hold or have held FAA / EASA ATPL licences.
- Have at least 1,500 hours as a pilot of multi-pilot aircraft OR For single pilot types, at least 1,500 hours in multi-pilot operations and have completed at least 500 hours of flight time as PIC on single pilot aircraft.
- Excellent fluency in English, through both verbal and written communications, i.e. the ability to speak, understand, read and write.
- Excellent listening skills.
