About This Role
GFK Flight Support seeks a Pilot-in-Command for their 2002 Socata TBM 700 based in Grand Forks, North Dakota. The PIC is responsible for safe and efficient transport of passengers under FAR Part 91 for a group of five co-owners, with flights generally scheduled well in advance. The position requires commercial multi-engine certification, instrument rating, and preferred experience includes 2,000+ total hours and 1,500+ PIC hours. Company-paid initial and recurrent training is provided at SimCom in Orlando, Florida.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Directly responsible for safe and efficient transport of all passengers in Socata TBM 700
- Ensure compliance with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM), and General Operations Manual (GOM)
- Function in single-pilot environment with focus on Situational Resource Management (SRM)
- Assess flight conditions while on duty and promptly notify supervisors and passengers of operational changes
- Identify early warning signs of changes in flight or aircraft conditions and respond appropriately
- Complete thorough aircraft walk-around at start of each shift
- Conduct safety and operational briefings with passengers when operational status changes
- Complete all required documentation for aircraft management
- Maintain ongoing competency in assigned airframe
- Participate in company meetings, ongoing education, checkoffs, and regulatory training
- Establish and maintain communication with coworkers, management, and other individuals
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
- Commercial Single-Engine Land (ASEL) and Multi-Engine Land (AMEL) certification
- Instrument Rating
- Current FAA First- or Second-Class Medical Certificate
- Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
- No FAA Certificate Actions within the last five years
- 2,000 hours Total Time (preferred)
- 1,500 hours Pilot-in-Command time (preferred)
- 500 hours cross-country time (preferred)
- 100 hours night flight time (preferred)
- 75 hours actual or simulated instrument flight (preferred)
- Previous TBM 700 flight time (preferred)
- Experience with turbine, pressurized, and complex aircraft (preferred)
- Cold weather operations and icing conditions experience (preferred)
- EFIS flight instruments and King KFC 325 Autopilot knowledge (preferred)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Critical thinking and adaptability skills
