About This Role
New York Power Authority seeks a Pilot in Command for Super King Air (BE-300) operations based in White Plains. Requires minimum 1500 total hours with 1000 hours as PIC on multi-engine aircraft. Competitive government salary of $87,000-$119,900/year.
Requirements
- Minimum 1500 hours total flight time
- 1000 hours in multi-engine aircraft as pilot-in-command
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) license required within one year of hire
- King Air BE-300 type certification required within one year of hire
- Current King Air 350/360 simulator-based training course completion
- CPL and IR minimums with MEL endorsement
- Class 2 Medical Certificate
- High school diploma
- Must have right to work in U.S. without visa sponsorship
- Occasional operations outside normal business hours (12-14 hour duty days)
- Night and weekend operations
- 50 hours preferred in Type BE-300
- 2000 hours total flight time preferred
- Two years of college or equivalent technical experience preferred
