About This Role
Talon Air is seeking experienced Pilots in Command (PICs) and Second in Commands (SICs) for various business jets including Hawker 4000, Falcon 2000, G200, Challenger 350, Challenger 604, and GV aircraft. The company operates a modern Part 135 charter fleet based in Farmingdale, New York, with most positions offering home-based operations. PICs require a minimum of 3500 total flight hours with 2000 PIC hours and a type rating, while SICs need 1500 total hours with 1000 PIC hours. The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $75,000-$250,000 annually, sign-on bonuses, a 12 on/8 off rotation schedule, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, and 401(k).
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate assigned business jet aircraft on Part 135 charter flights
- Serve as Pilot in Command ensuring safety and regulatory compliance
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and aircraft checks
- Manage crew resource management and safety procedures
- Complete required flight logs, reports, and documentation
- Maintain proficiency on assigned aircraft types
- Coordinate with dispatch and flight operations
- Provide professional service to charter clients

Requirements
- Valid FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) license
- 3500 hours total flight time (PIC requirement)
- 2000 hours PIC experience
- 1500 hours multi-engine land (MEL) PIC
- Type rating on assigned aircraft
- Valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate
- Valid passport
- Ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted travel to/from Canada
- Compliant with ICAO Annex I - 2.1.10 requirements
- One year Part 135 experience preferred
- Clean background check and drug screening
- Minimum 21 years of age
