About This Role
AIRTEC is seeking an OCONUS Pilot in Command for B300/350 ISR operations in the Pacific Area of Responsibility. The position is responsible for safe and efficient aircraft operation in austere, potentially dangerous environments, including mission preparation, flight planning, performance and weight-and-balance planning, fuel planning, flight execution, post-flight activities, site oversight, crew coordination, reporting, safety management, and customer and government-interface responsibilities. The role follows a rotational 90/90 schedule and requires extensive travel and deployment to locations inside and outside the United States.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Pilot in Command is responsible for the safe execution of ISR flights in accordance with GFR-approved flight and operations procedures, host-nation rules, Federal Aviation Regulations, and company policies. Duties include operating the B300/350 in all weather and during day and night operations
- completing preflight preparation, flight planning, performance planning, weight and balance, fuel planning, and post-flight activities
- coordinating with the Chief Pilot on crew staffing, scheduling, personnel management, training adequacy, and mission support
- overseeing OCONUS sites
- managing mission briefings, mission execution, crew equipment, safety programs, flight-department data, and operations specifications
- and conducting flight operations as Pilot in Command, Second in Command, or Instructor Pilot as required. The role also requires maintaining safe and professional operations, communicating respectfully with team members and customers, preparing reports and briefs, supporting safety management, coordinating aircraft upkeep and fueling, documenting discrepancies for maintenance review, interfacing with the prime contractor and U.S. Government personnel, mentoring new personnel, and performing additional duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements
- Applicants must be U.S. citizens with a current U.S. passport, an FAA Class II Medical, and a Commercial MEL Pilot's license
- an ATP is preferred but not required. A current type rating in the operational aircraft or a similar aircraft is required. Minimum flight experience includes at least 4,000 hours total time, 500 hours in the required or similar type aircraft, and 2,000 hours of multi-engine fixed-wing PIC time
- the posting also separately states 3,000 hours total time. Candidates must be eligible to obtain a SECRET security clearance, complete pre-deployment training to U.S. government standards, pass a drug test, and have prior OCONUS rotational experience. Former active-duty Department of Defense or U.S. Government contractor ISR experience and Instructor Pilot or Standardization Pilot experience are preferred but not required.
