About This Role
Leidos is hiring a BE350 Pilot in Command to support contracted CONUS and OCONUS flight operations from Darwin. The role requires safe and professional mission execution in the King Air 350, including flight planning, pre- and post-flight activities, and compliance with applicable regulations and Leidos procedures. Pilots may be required to live and work in austere conditions and support customer-focused defense missions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Pilot in Command performs all operational duties in the King Air 350, including flight planning, pre-flight and post-flight activities, and mission execution as directed by the Site Operations Manager and Leidos Program Chief Pilot.
- The PIC must maintain high standards of aviation skill, safety, professionalism, and customer focus, comply with applicable regulations and Leidos program and corporate policies, and support contracted flight operations in both CONUS and OCONUS environments, including austere conditions when required.

Requirements
- Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree with 8+ years of related experience, with additional experience accepted in lieu of the degree
- 1,500 hours of PIC total time
- 300 hours of PIC time in a Super King Air 350 or similar aircraft
- Proline 21 and Garmin G1000 experience
- a current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
- a valid FAA Commercial Airplane and Airplane Airman Certificate
- Multiengine Land and Instrument Airplane ratings
- U.S. citizenship
- an active DoD Secret clearance or higher
- minimum age 21
- a valid passport and state driver's license
- English fluency
- and the ability to meet contractual, program-training, and DoD medical requirements for OCONUS travel and complete CONUS Replacement Courses within 90 days of hire. Preferred qualifications include an active DoD Top Secret clearance, 2,500 hours of PIC time in King Air 300/350 or similar multi-engine turboprop aircraft, 200 hours of actual instrument time, 500 hours of turbine time, holding the rating for the last two consecutive years, prior U.S. Military, Customs, DEA, or U.S. Contracting ISR pilot experience, military standardization or instructor pilot experience, maintenance pilot experience, and prior OCONUS rotation experience.
