About This Role
AIRTEC seeks a Pilot-in-Command for its B300/350 (King Air 350) supporting special-mission/ISR flight operations across the Caribbean Area of Responsibility (AOR), including Haiti, on a rotational 30/30 expatriate schedule. The PIC is overall responsible for the safe execution of flights in accordance with GFR-approved Flight and Operations Procedures, applicable host-nation rules and Federal Aviation Regulations; for the safe, efficient operation of the airplane in all weather, day and night; and for all mission preparation including preflight, flight planning, performance and weight-and-balance, fuel planning and post-flight. The flight environment is described as austere and often dangerous, requiring experienced, mature professional pilots. The position is OCONUS and reports to the Director of Flight Operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Chief Pilot on crew staffing, scheduling and personnel management, ensuring department staffing and training support planned operational tempos and required mission support.
- Provide OCONUS site oversight of mission briefings, mission management, crew equipment management, safety-program implementation, flight-department data tracking and operations-specifications management.
- Conduct flight operations as Pilot in Command, Second in Command and Instructor Pilot as required, operating the aircraft in accordance with applicable regulations, service guidance, corporate policies and FOPs/GOPs, and ensuring all operations are performed safely and professionally.
- Produce required reports, briefs and safety-management documentation, manage aircraft upkeep and fueling, and document aircraft discrepancies for maintenance review and correction.
- Act as interface with the Prime Contractor and U.S.
- Government personnel, mentor new personnel, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and a current U.S. passport
- an FAA Class II Medical
- a Commercial multi-engine land (MEL) pilot certificate, with an ATP preferred
- and a type rating in the operational aircraft (B300/350) or a similar aircraft. Flight-time minimums: at least 4,000 hours total time and 500 hours in the required or similar type aircraft
- and 2,000 hours of multi-engine fixed-wing PIC time with 3,000 hours total time (the posting states both a 4,000-hour and a 3,000-hour total-time figure). Candidates must be eligible to obtain a SECRET-level security clearance, complete pre-deployment training to U.S. Government standards, pass a drug test, and have prior OCONUS rotational experience. Former active-duty DoD or U.S. Government contractor ISR experience, and Instructor Pilot or Standardization Pilot qualification, are preferred but not required. Travel and rotational deployment within and outside the United States, including austere locations, is required, along with the ability to work in austere/confined conditions, wear required safety equipment, and lift 50 lbs.
