About This Role
Executive Jet Management (EJM), a NetJets / Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary, seeks a Pilot in Command for a factory-new Gulfstream G500 based at Hillsboro, OR (KHIO), flying Part 91. Well-supported 3-pilot flight department flying ~300 hrs/yr, primarily domestic U.S. with occasional international trips. Not a home-based/commutable position; candidates must reside within a 2-3 hour drive of KHIO or relocate.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Pilot in Command holds final responsibility to ensure the aircraft is operated in a safe, compliant and efficient manner. Ensures crewing and trip assignments are compliant
- completes flight planning, performance and weight and balance
- uses TPC briefing methodology
- complies with company SOPs
- acts as Grounds and In-Flight Security Coordinator
- completes pre-flight and ground-servicing tasks
- delivers an exceptional service experience to owners and passengers
- maintains regulatory and company-required training and recency
- complies with company SMS program.
Requirements
- Minimum Time Requirements: Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours. Prior experience in corporate/business aviation. Type rated in GVII (preferred). Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Hillsboro, OR.
