About This Role
Executive Jet Management (EJM), a NetJets / Berkshire Hathaway company, is hiring a Pilot in Command for a Gulfstream G450 based at Gary, IN (GYY), just outside Chicago. This is a three-pilot account flying an average of 350 hours annually, part 91 and internal part 135 (no retail charter), with a full-time Maintenance Technician and dedicated hangar space. The position is not commutable and requires residing within driving distance of GYY.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensures the safe operation of flight: ensures crewing and trip assignments are compliant
- completes flight planning, performance and weight and balance
- uses TPC briefing methodology
- complies with company SOPs
- acts as Grounds and In-Flight Security Coordinator
- completes aircraft pre-flight tasks and records discrepancies
- monitors ground servicing
- completes passenger briefings
- uses CRM and TEM. Delivers an exceptional service experience to owners and passengers. Maintains proficiency and compliance with regulatory and company-required training, recency of experience, and the company SMS program.
Requirements
- Certifications and Licenses: FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP)
- First Class Medical Certificate. Years of Experience: 4-6 years of experience. KSAOs: Prior experience in corporate/business aviation preferred
- FAA Type rating in applicable fleet
- must be able to perform the essential functions of the position. Minimum Time Requirements: Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours.
