About This Role
Jet Linx is recruiting a full-time Pilot in Command (Captain) for a Super Midsize Gulfstream jet in Part 91 operations. The vacancy title identifies a Gulfstream G280 and lists Opa-locka, Florida, while the description separately refers to a Gulfstream G80 and Miami, FL. Duties & Responsibilities
- The PIC reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot and prepares for and ensures the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with the Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures. Essential functions include managing duty, flight and rest times in accordance with company and CFR requirements
- maintaining communication for standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre- and post-flight reports
- maintaining electronic flight bag hardware and applications
- ensuring navigation charts, publications and company manuals remain current
- maintaining a current first-class medical certificate

Requirements
- Minimum flight-time thresholds are 3,500 hours total flight time
- 2,000 hours total PIC time
- 250 hours total PIC in type
- 1,000 multi-engine hours
- 500 multi-engine PIC hours
- 1,000 turbine hours
- 1,000 total turbine PIC hours
- 300 instrument hours
- 1,500 total jet hours
- and 500 total jet PIC hours. Initial or recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred. Candidates are expected to live, or be willing to relocate, within a two-hour call-out time of their home base. Other requirements include the ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license

- passing a pre-employment drug screen and submitting to random drug and alcohol testing when required. Candidates must have unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries, release and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot, and work nights, weekends, and holidays. A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required. The work is primarily completed in and around aircraft and aircraft terminals and may require moving up to 50 pounds frequently.
